Connecting with CSU-TAPS Tech & Ag Industry
The 2026 CSU-TAPS Field Day connected ag tech and industry partners with producers and competitors through a TAPS Tech & Partner Showcase.

CSU-TAPS added a new TAPS Tech & Partner Showcase to its annual competition Field Day on July 23, 2026. We invited the ag tech and industry partners supporting the sprinkler corn competition to be part of an informal, outdoor showcase, where they could share information, products, and tech with competitors and visitors.
With program participants from 24 TAPS teams coming from across Colorado to visit their competition plots in person, adding the Showcase gave competitors a chance to connect directly with the ag companies supporting CSU-TAPS and precision agriculture.
We provided tables and shade tents, and our partners brought interactive displays and information to show their contributions to CSU-TAPS. The Showcase included a weeding robot, drones, soil moisture sensors, satellite imagery, answered hybrid seed and crop insurance questions, and more – all critical to the remote competition.
Industry partners help TAPS by providing seed hybrids, soil moisture sensors, fertilizer, offering crop insurance or marketing services, satellite imagery and data, collaborating on research, as financial supporters, and more.
Many thanks to the 15 ag partners who made time to join us during this busy time of year!
Agroptics, AquaSpy, Beck’s Hybrids, BOPA Weeding Robot, Colorado Corn Promotion Council, CSU Ag Water Quality Program, CropX, Crossroads Cooperative, DEKALB, GoAnna Ag, GX Lab, Phytech, Seitec Genetics, Sentek USA, Till Insurance

The Showcase represents an ongoing Testing Ag Performance Solutions goal: to build meaningful connections among producers, ag industry, students, researchers, tech providers, and public agency staff interested in supporting farming success with input-use efficient, profitable, precision management.
That’s true of all TAPS Network programs across the nation. If you are interested in partnering with CSU-TAPS or the TAPS Network, please contact Amy Kremen, IIC associate director or Omer Izrael, CSU-TAPS project manager.
